There are just some things I never get around to doing. I have a shower with all sorts of scum that needs cleaning. I have floor boards that need dusting. I have a fridge that never seems to clean itself!!!

I need a maid.

So if anyone would like to clean my condo out really well then that would rock!

These are cool. They're designed by the renowned Architect Zaha Hadid. They're something to look at. At first I wasn't sure how comfortable they'd be to eat with... but then I realized the method behind the madness. They're built to suit traditional European dining. The fork remains in the left hand. The knife stays in the right hand. The spoon doesn't require "shoveling" as much as it's meant for pouring. It's a neat statement for design. But one set costs $250. I found it for $169 on Ebay.

This is super cool. I like reclining while working on my computer but it's so complex getting in a position that will allow me to do that. So why wouldn't I want a computer monitor that I could wear on my face?

I guess my least favorite aspect of my kitchen is the faucet. It's pretty generic. But I'm a little nervous in installing anything that could flood the business below me.

I've always planned to install a full sized mirror in my little nook. Something that can help make the the space look larger. Right now I'm using the nook as a modest work out spot but I'd rather use it for something nice. I'm just not sure what.

I'm not a fan of most trash can designs. What I do now for trash in my kitchen is keep trash under the kitchen desk, out of the way but accessible. I have two cans one for big compactible trash and one for messy trash. My messy trash trash-can doesn't let the bag fill up. When I take out trash I have to fill the rest of the bag with something, hence the compactible trash.

So I'm thinking this might somehow fix that. I want to believe someone really thought this trash-can out... I mean it looks Apple™, right?

I went and just hung out at IKEA the other day. I'm kind of feeling antsy to buy some furnature for my place finally. I saw these shelves (the taller of the two units), complete with a cool lighting solution (cuz let's admit it the magic of IKEA is they're really smart about lighting things). They're pretty cool and relatively modern (which is the style I'm shooting for). As long as they could fit my really tall collectors graphic novels (typically 12.5 x 8.6 x 1.4 inches) and hold really heavy books, I think it would be lovely.

I want to plug my iPod into some speakers in my bedroom but I'm thinking I don't want to get something specifically for the iPod since the shape of iPods & iPhones keep changing. Just some sort of stereo that I can plug my iPod into or for use with my TV for watching movies would be fine. Preferably something that looks good naturally. Monstrosity boom-boxes need not apply. Something with an Audio In option.

I still need new sheets for my bed. (some colors I like are: white, off-white, dark brown, burgundy, etc) Doesn't have to be anything too fancy.
I saw some nice cheap sheets at places like Walmart, Costco and Target. A matching down comforter cover would be nice too.

There's a secret in the tinfoil

This blog is going out to all of those people that want to know what makes Eric so happy...

There's not much use going further if you're going to sit there and ponder the deeper meanings of "Tuna in Tinfoil". All you need to know is that I'm alluding to the worst present I ever got. Forget for a second that I have deep seeded loathing for tuna fish and all tuna fish salads spawned from the dirtiest bird of the sea. In the annuls of my mind there could be no worse present (without actually threatening my freedoms, health or loved ones mind you). The fact that a person could wrap a can of tuna into tinfoil to make it shiny and exotic only plays at the cruelity in it's contempt and abuse of the act all things happy and beautiful.

I shall create this blog so there will never have to be another Tuna in Tinfoil. So that the sun can burn bright and warm throughout all of our days and that the night may never impede on the dreams of small children... or bunny rabbits, or what-have-you.
